4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

a. Customer Cancellations

Cancellation and Change Policy A minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required to cancel a reservation. Written notice must be made to tours@greatamericantours.com  In the event of cancellation 30 days or more before the service date, 50% of the total contracted amount remains due and payable if not already received. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the service date will result in full payment of the contracted amount, which will be immediately charged to the credit card on file. This policy reflects the difficulty of rebooking a previously reserved vehicle with short notice.

  • Less than 29 days before the tour: No refund.
  • No-shows or late arrivals are not eligible for a refund.

b. Company Cancellations

  • We may cancel a tour due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • If we cancel, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
  • We are not responsible for additional costs (e.g., flights, hotels).

5. Liability & Disclaimers

  • Travel Risks: You acknowledge that travel and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, illnesses, or lost belongings.
  • Third-Party Services: We may work with external vendors. We are not responsible for their actions or services.
  • No Guarantees: While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the information on our Website is always error-free.

We expect all participants to behave respectfully during tours. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service to anyone engaging in disruptive, illegal, or dangerous behavior.
  • Remove participants from a tour without a refund if they violate safety guidelines.

Great American Tours is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this agreement due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, governmental restrictions, power outages, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule. Refunds will be issued only if rescheduling is not possible. Refund amounts will be adjusted based on non-recoverable costs already incurred by the company, including but not limited to vendor fees, permits, accommodations, administrative costs, and any payments made to third-party service providers. Great American Tours is not responsible for indirect costs incurred by customers, such as airfare, lodging, or other travel expenses.

Customers agree to resolve any disputes directly with Great American Tours before posting negative public statements, reviews, or complaints online. If a customer violates this clause and posts false, misleading, or defamatory information, Great American Tours reserves the right to pursue legal action for damages, including business reputation harm.
